Jessa is a Scottish singer and singing leader based in North Yorkshire, UK.
A versatile singer with a wide range of repertoire from classic pop (particular favourites include Carole King, The Carpenters and The Beatles) to musical theatre and traditional folk tunes, Jessa has taken her singing outside since March 2020, singing her weekly “fieldsing” with the real songbirds in all weathers.
Whatever the venue or style of song, Jessa’s pure, heartfelt vocals and characterful storytelling are always popular with audiences.
Jessa leads a selection of choirs and singing groups, all with an emphasis on singing for health, well-being, and fun!
Using a loop pedal and pre-recorded tracks, Jessa is able to create a live online choir experience suitable for all abilities. Jessa’s love of singing is infectious and she can lead you through simple warm-ups, catchy rounds and partner songs and a selection of classic hits to help lift your spirits.
Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Jaraneh Nova is a magnetic performing artist who fuses the essence of her Apache and Inuit Roots with Electronic and Live Looped Music. She is a classically trained musician who has been creating musical Prayerformances in the festival scene for over 15 years. Through her deep earth connection and lifetime of traditional Indigenous ceremony, she has embodied the ability to create ceremonial spaces. This ability combined with her acclaimed vocals has birthed a beautiful soundscape of unique, high frequency music that is woven with rich American Indian textures and fused with inspiring lyrics, Indigenous Chants and deep healing transmissions.
